Ingredients:
500g Desi Murgi chicken pieces (bone-in for more flavor)
2 onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
2 green chilies, slit

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Instructions:
Heat oil or ghee in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté until the raw aroma disappears.
Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Add Desi Murgi chicken pieces to the masala and coat them well with the spices. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add water as needed to achieve your desired gravy consistency. Cover and cook until the desi murgi chicken is tender and cooked through, stirring occasionally. This may take around 20-25 minutes depending on the size of the desi murgi chicken pieces.
Once the desi murgi chicken is cooked, sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
